Out of concern for the health and safety of our guests, vendors and local communities, we have decided to cancel the War of Wings Festival for 2020.
Combat park will remain open as well as Veteran’s Trade Day. Please visit combatpark.com and plan your visit to Alabama’s Premier Adventure Park instead.
Please take care of yourself and we will see you soon!

about wounded warrior alabama

Wounded Warrior Logo

Wounded Warrior was established in 2014 by a pair of retired, disabled & married Veterans, with a clear goal in mind: To help as many of our state’s military veterans as possible live better lives. We don’t focus on the massive purchases like homes. Instead, WWA helps families pay rent, buy groceries, Afford lifesaving medications and have even helped with utility bills to keep the lights on. Because we focus on everyday living expenses, WWA is able to make each donation go further and help more Veterans and their families.

Many of our Veteran families continue to pay the price every day. Post-traumatic stress Disorder, depression, anxiety, continued pain from past injuries and financial stress weigh heavily on our Brothers and Sisters who fought for our freedom. Wounded Warrior Alabama gives back to our Alabama Troop’s in effort to ease that stress that defray some of their costs.

Funds Raised by the War of Wings festival will Help Wounded Warrior Alabama directly impact Alabama’s Veteran population by making sure they and their families have everything they need when they reach out to us for help.  Whether it’s buying groceries, helping to get their vehicle running again or paying for a much needed medication. WWA is here to help Alabama Veterans in need.

Thank you for your support of Wounded Warrior Alabama.
